VTB (Azerbaijan) acted as the general sponsor of the festival of children's creativity dedicated to the birthday of the People's Artist of the Republic Muslim Magomayev. The event took place at the Embassy of Russia in Baku. More than 70 children with disabilities took part in it.
The organizer of the festival was the Motherhood and Childhood Support Center "Source of Life" in Azerbaijan. One of the main goals of the event was to support families in which creative children with disabilities grow up, their development and the creation of favorable conditions for self-realization.
“VTB (Azerbaijan), as part of its social responsibility, today actively supports the development of children's sports and creativity in the country. This year, we joined the organization of a summer camp for children from low-income families, held a playful educational project for children from an orphanage, and much more. Today we are pleased to be part of a significant event that is held in honor of the birthday of the great artist of Azerbaijan and is aimed at the development of children with disabilities,” said Evgeny Borodin, Member of the Board, Director of the Retail Business Development Department of VTB (Azerbaijan) in his speech at the opening of the festival.
Earlier, VTB (Azerbaijan) supported the country's unique project "Turn a Basketball Court into a Work of Art". The design of the winner will become part of the symbolism of the international basketball tournament Red Bull Half Court.
